Where did it all begin? A question that many a wargamer and mini collector may have asked themselves and if so I suspect that we usually all come up with a similar answer (at leat if you’re my age!). For me it was Airfix Napoleonics, then for my 9th Birthday my dad supplied me with some Mini-Figs Naps that were soon to be covered in fresh-from-the-pot Gloss Humbrol Enamels!! Still, at the time they looked the business and with the addition of the Airfix Napoleonic Rules (that I still proudly possess- get me to a doctor!) bought from Derek at the long defunct Wargamers Den in Durham, I was ready to rock and roll. I used to spend hours and hours just staring at the mini’s in Derek’s shop- he probably thought I was mad- or maybe just a future wargamer…… )
